Steph keeps adding new toys to her menagerie,and they are adorable.
Her new chipmonk comes with a very stylish sweater.
And her new little Bunny, named Daisy, even has a pocket on her dress. We think Steph needs to make her a lace hankie for her pocket.

You have learned the 2 handed fair Isle technique- now put it to good use knitting this Felted Fair Isle Tote. Feel free to join the class even if you haven't taken the 2 handed fair Isle class as long as you have had some Fair Isle experience in the past.

Technique Class
10:00 - 12:00 with Steph
Stephanie's technique classes have been so well received that she is doing more of them. For this Saturday, March 27, Steph will be teaching you how to do several types of increases & decreases and when, where, and how to use them.

My First Vest
 This worsted weight vest is constructed in one piece- no sewing. The minimal shaping is perfect for the beginner, or the knitter who wants to try their first real project- a vest for themselves! Several knitters started last Saturday but you can still sign up and join us. Finished sizing on this pattern is from 36" to 52.5" so it will definitely fit most people.Call to sign up.

All day Fair Isle Class with Linda Miller
The next 2 handed fair isle class will be held the last Saturday in April. The next class and all future classes on this technique will be limited to 12 students. 2 seats are still available.

Washcloths with JoAnne
Next week (April 1) we celebrate Spring with a flower wash cloth. This cloth is knit in pieces ( the 5 petals) which are then connected and knit to the center on a 16" circular followed by double pointed needles. A good learning experience. This class will be repeated on Tuesday evening, April 13. You will need a 16" size 7 plus double pointed needles in size 7. We supply the yarn.

You may join any of Pat's classes and work on this new shawl. The Brandywine Shawl. Pat is knitting it out of Hand Maiden Sea Silk- a Silk/ Sea cell blend that has incredible drape and luxurious shine and color. Just one hank makes this easy lace shawl.

Knitter's Companion is one of the best resource books on the market. It contains just about anything you need to know about knitting- increases, decreases, making buttonholes, sewing, etc. If you do not already own this book- we suggest you get yourself one. Small size makes it very portable-the spiral binding makes it lay flat while open.
We just received these new note cards- featuring balls of yarn, sheep and knitting. Just the right size for thank you notes.
