Highlights of upcoming classes |

Linda Miller Is almost finished with the Nightsongs Shawl and will soon be starting a new one- called the Audrey Triple.
Both are lovely and can be knit with either fingering or Dk weight yarn. She knit her Nightsongs shawl out of Rayon Metallic. She has not decided what yarn to use for the Audrey Triple, but she is leaning toward a rayon/cotton blend DK weight yarn called Haze. It has dancing colors that will swirl through the garment. The rayon will provide a large amount of drape for a lovely flow.
REMEMBER- you can freely come to either of Linda's classes- Tuesday or Thursday. So if one week the Tuesday works best- come then, and the next week- Thursday of it suits your schedule better.

Tuesday & Thursday
6:30 - 8:30 PM
Fair Isle Stocking with Linda M.
Also during Linda Miller's Tuesday or Thursday classes you can try your hand at Fair Isle. Many knitters have by now attended one of Linda's 2 Handed Fair Isle classes. This Christmas stocking- Knit by Jenny- is an extension of this technique.

Thursdays 10:00-12:00 PM
Washcloths with JoAnne
Next week I offer a change for the washcloth class. Using a washcloth pattern, we will knit a blend of wools together which we will later felt into a hotpad. Everyone loved knitting the washcloths with this pattern, so I am sure they will love the hotpad.
The pair of yarns will knit up 2 hotpads.
More cool ideas for this class time coming!

Saturday 1:00 - 3:00 PM
New May Sock with Pat

Pat is starting a new sock class to go with the
new month that begins this weekend.
Using Zauerball striping sock yarn Pat has
knit up the Changling Socks from the
Enchanted Sole book. The sock has an
elegant cable running up the front, but
the most eyecatching part is the color
changing of the yarn. Join Pat this Saturday-
May 1 to start this sock.
Eileen will be using this Saturday to finish her
April Sock. She will start her May sock next week.

Diana's Class times
Felted EntreLac Purse
Diana just finished this felted tote bag
worked in Noro Iro using the Entrelac
Technique. Noro yarns are known for
their fabulous color changes and this
yarn doesn't disappoint.
Join Diana to learn this technique-
which is easier than it looks.

Susan knit this sweet little Cropped Jacket out of Jeannee Worsted. It is an Encore pattern available at the Shop. Sue lengthened the jacket just a bit- something so easy to do with a top down design. Look how perfect it looks on Sue's petite frame.
Very nice job Sue.

The Ice Cube Tray is Back! |
|
| |
RAIN! Only $4.00 each! Not Much Left- so come in soon!!
This week the pool was put away so that the ice cube tray could make a comeback. We bring it out when we have a yarn on sale that would become tangled in the pool. This week we have a very special yarn called Rain.
Rain is a beautiful drifting mohair yarn. The long luxurious poofs of mohair extend about 1" from the center core. Available in 8 magnificent colors. 82 yards in each ball.
2-3 balls make a lovely scarf. For this week only, Rain is a yarn that sold for $10.00 a ball, but now we have it for only $4.00 a ball. While it lasts. We have all that exists so don't wait long- it might be all gone.
Diagonal Scarf
With Size 15 needles, loosely cast on 18 sts.
Row 1: Slip first stitch as if to purl. Knit into front and back of next stitch (increase 1). Knit until 3 stitches remain on needle, knit 2 together (decrease 1), knit 1 - 18 stitches.
Row 2: Slip first stitch as if to purl. Knit to end.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until about 24" of yarn remains.
Bind off loosely and weave in ends.
Make scarf as long as you wish.
