Crochet is A-coming! |

Pat's new One Time Only beginner's crochet class on July 6 from 6:30 - 8:30 is full! So ... (and we knew it would happen), the one time only class has become a month long event. The second class session- July 13 is filling up fast- call NOW!! The last 2 Tuesdays in July will be spent mastering the next phases of our crochet education.
For any of these classes you MUST sign up for each session individually- meaning if you come on July 6, you need to sign up again for July 13. We are seeing MANY people signing up for this and trust me we will find a way to get everyone up and crochetting!
In the first class you will learn the basics of crochet- how to chain, single crochet, maybe even double crochet. With so little, you can do so much!! We will have beginner crochet patterns galore and to top it all off... Steph will begin doing some crochet amigurumis such as this cute little mouse or these cute cats:
These little animals are easy to make using only single crochet. This is just a very easy one- there are so many more- all cute as a button. Steph is still picking which ones to do- STAY TUNED!

Somerset cotton is on sale this week at 20% off
This beautiful cotton/silk blend knits up beautifully for a light weight summer garment.
We have several designs knit in Somerset on display this week, and plenty of yarn to make whichever garment you please.
I have just finished a shawl called Sweet November shawl. The pattern is available at the shop or on Ravelry. I knit it with 3 balls of Somerset to yield a shawlette. My friend in Rhode Island knit it with 4 balls- making a much larger shawl.

New Entrelac Shawl with Pat
Pat is taking on another new project this month- an entrelac triangular shawl called Dianna. She is knitting her shawl with Ty-Dy Sock and so far the colors are working out very well- with each color run in the yarn working up about 2 blocks of the entrelac so the colors are looking like an ever changing display of diamonds. The leaf motif in each block adds a wonderful lace detail.
This is Pat's actual shawl; knit with just one ball of Ty-Dy sock yarn.
