Lauren Loeffler is coming back again next week- for a class on needle felting. This class always sells out fast, so call and get signed up soon. You will want to have a felted bag or bowl to needle felt onto.
If you don't have a canvas already, you can purchase a small "blank" zippered bag to use. These are really cute.

The Zinnia cloth will teach you a lot about short rowing. You will need a half ball of Fantasy Naturale for the main color. We can supply the small amount of contrast color you need for the center. Bring size 7 needles.

Crochet Fair Isle with Milly
Crochet Fair Isle??? I have never heard of that! Well, Milly has come up with a way and she is willing to share her new found knowledge.
Take a look at what Milly has created here. This is a great way to use up your stash. Only a knowledge of single crochet is needed. Wow- how's that for easy!
Milly asks that you bring at least 2 colors in the worsted weight yarn of your choice, plus a size H crochet hook.

I will be starting with a Seaming class on April 9 and continuing on April 23 with a cast on and bind off class. These are individual classes- you can sign up for one or both. And more technique classes are coming too!
These are good classes if I don't say so myself! You will learning something- I guarantee it! In the April 9 class you will learn how to make your garments look more professional. In the April 23 class you will learn several ways to cast on sts and bind them off, and when to best use each method.
NOTE: I have just added a second seaming class since the April 9 class filled. Wednesday, April 18 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This class will be limited to 8 students.

Baby Sweater with Lori
Next week Lori will be starting a new baby sweater- this is a multidirectional garment- with a one piece construction. There's a lot of learning here! This will be fun. You will need worsted weight yarn- (200g) and size 7 or 8 needles. The sweater as shown will fit 3-6 months.

Everyone just adores the Linen Stitch Scarf knit in Koigu. We have come up with a fast way for you to learn to work the Linen Stitch with ease- by making a bookmark! In any of Eileen's classes this week- knit up this project while gaining the expertise to do the scarf. Bring about 10g of a sock yarn- or use one of our 10g balls for only $1.00 ( while they last).

NEW Beginner crochet class with Amy

Next week Amy will be working on an afghan square called the Alternate Puff Stitch square. This can also be a great washcloth. Bring some Fantasy Naturale (or the worsted weight yarn of youre choice) and a size H hook.
This is one of the fastest growing classes we have. Amy is terrific and she is showing how much fun crochet can be!
ALSO- please note... Amy encourages all to work on a crochet project of their own choice. The featured project of week is just a suggestion- and its usually a fun one too.

Next week Linda will be starting to teach a new sideways scarf/cowl knit in Feather & Fan.
She knit this cowl in our new Ayatori by Noro. The soft hand and springlike colors make for a great warm weather cowl. For a more Fall look, you can work this cowl in the new Silk Garden Lite. Bring a 24" circular size 5 or 6.

We have started a men's class! Joe- a local knitter, Pints & Purls attendee, and raveler has agreed to lead the class. Joe would really like to do a group project. His idea is to try felted house slippers (big felted socks). These can easy for those who are beginners, or embellished with cables or Fair Isle to challenge those who are more advanced knitters.

Eileen's Wednesday afternoon class (4:00 - 6:00) has chosen to work on a sampler afghan themselves!
